The Conscious Circle was created by Hemanshi, a 20-year-old student studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Sydney.

 

It was created with the intention to curate a platform to share meaningful work produced by passionate artists, writers, content creators and of-course ordinary people, like Hemanshi, who are constantly reflecting on the world they live in.

The Conscious Circle was built to foster dialogue, and in turn create radical empathy. It was built to help young people navigate the social, cultural and political climates they live in and unite in their sense of urgency and curiosity. It is premised on #ChangeTheNarrative, a series dedicated to reclaiming the stories of those heavily minimised by media discourses and the status quo.

The Conscious Circle is made up of a team of volunteer artists, writers, and young content creators who contribute to the blog and forum.
